In highest yoga tantra, the six yogas are revered as profound completion stage practices. Most often known are the six yogas of Naropa, and Naguma, which focuses more on the luminosity aspect. The Six Vajra yogas of the Kalachakra tantra, are unique and quite different practices. Kalacharka tantra and the six vajra yogas in particular, were originally taught to the kings of Shambhala, and practiced there extensively for over 100 years, until being introduced to our world in the 12th century. The Jonang tradition within Tibetan Buddhism is the lineage that has the specific focus of Kalachakra practice, and holds the entire Kalachakra system, with these profound and unique completion stage practice lineage unbroken, meeting us in our world today.

Khentrul Rinpoche will share insights into the depth and richness of the profound vajra yogas, perfected in Shambhala, a gift for us today.
